Let’s begin with a threshold conversation

A woman with curly hair and glasses smiling in a cozy room with books, a flower in a vase, and a brick wall in the background.

The yearning of the heart brought you here.

A warm welcome to you.

Rev. Lizzie Ward

You don’t need to know exactly what you’re looking for. You only need to have felt, even faintly, that something is calling. That is enough to begin.

"Come, come, whoever you are.
Wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving, it doesn't matter.
Ours is not a caravan of despair.
come, even if you have broken your vows a thousand times.
Come, yet again, come, come.”

-Rumi

THE FIRST STEP

A threshold conversation

This is a free thirty-minute call — unhurried, unscripted, and entirely without pressure. It is simply a chance for us to meet, for you to share a little of where you are, and for us to sense together whether this is the right place for you.

Many people find that the conversation itself is something. That being listened to — without agenda, without advice, without rush — is already a kind of beginning.

You are welcome to come not knowing what you need. That is, in fact, the most common way people arrive.

BOOK A THRESHOLD CONVERSATION

You will be taken to Lizzie's diary to choose a time that suits you.

Three simple steps to beginning

  • 1

    Book your threshold conversation

Choose a time in Lizzie's diary that works for you. You will receive a confirmation and a simple online meeting link — nothing more is needed.

  • 2

    Come as you are

Bring yourself — your questions, your uncertainty, your longing. There is no preparation required and nothing you need to have worked out in advance.

  • 3

    Find your next step

Together we will discern which pathway — if any — is right for you, right now. There is no pressure to commit to anything in the conversation itself.

Not quite ready for a conversation?

  • Reflexology, Closing the Bones Blessing, Spiritual Accompaniment & In-person events

  • Day Pilgrimages focused around The Sacred Year at Church Farm. Float on the river and in the meadows.

  • The Grief Space - opens in Autumn 2026

The Saturday Gathering- quarterly half day gatherings of creative and somatic space to acknowledge and release

  • Hatha and Yin Yoga Online Gatherings coming soon

That's completely understood. Take your time. Wander through the four doorways into Stepping Stones and find the one that feels closest to where you are.

You can always come back here when the moment feels right. The threshold conversation will still be here.

The next stone is already there.

You don't need to see the whole path. You only need to find the next step. That is, after all, how a pilgrimage works.
